Poplar bowl measures 9 3/4” across and 2” tall.  It was turned on a lathe and the rim was covered with black enamel.  After two dividing lines were cut on the rim, iridescent acrylic paint was used to create the ‘cosmic’ design, and it was then finished with lacquer.
